The main goal of this initiative is to ensure that client can submit an advanced IRB (Internal Ratings-Based) application to the ECB (European Central Bank) by establishing a robust, governed, and automated data delivery process to the modelling team.
We are looking for up to two Consultants: one for Data handling and harmonization and another for Regulations and Definitions
Description:
Data handling and harmonization
- 5-10 year of relevant work history
- Proven experience in working with large data sets and professional proficiency in SQL, having worked with database (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL etc.)
- Ability to define and document data structures and ETL flows within and across applications and contribute to functional design of the E2E solutioning (controls, analysis, reporting, sign-off)
- Good knowledge of accounting and balance sheet structures, including various financial instruments
- Document meta data e.g. where data originates, with what assumptions, to meet what regulatory obligation in which reporting framework(s)
- Ability to drive discussions with various business stakeholders to clarify requirements and have them formally signed off
- Skills in utilizing AI to make work efficient and introduce new use cases also longer term
- Working proficiency in JIRA
Regulations and Definitions
- 5-10 year of relevant work history
- Good working knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks, required from banks such as COREP, AnaCredit, FINREP, SHS-G etc.
- Good understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and quality expectations e.g. CRR, BCBS239
- Proven track-record in creating reporting IT solutions with various technologies, databases, reporting tools/BI Tools and calculation engines producing regulatory metrics
- Proven experience in working with large data sets and professional proficiency in SQL, having worked with database (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL etc.)
- Ability to detail regulatory definitions and expectations together with Nordea business stakeholders to create well-documented functional specifications, bridging regulatory requirements and the technical implementation
- Working proficiency in JIRA
