Business Analyst/Product Designer

A business analysts will be part of the Customer Service IT Product team. The members of the team are based in different locations with a Product Owner and a few team members being in Espoo, development team in nearshore and the rest of the team in India. The business analyst will share the responsibilities across 2 solutions: Case management tool for GSS and Third-party Inspection reports handling (3PI). The business owners are based in Hyvinkää, Espoo and Belgium. The scope, prioritization, the high-level architecture and solution design is done by Product Owner (PO) and Technology Design Expert (TDE) together with Business stakeholders. The Business analyst is expected:

  • to collect the needed inputs and to refine the business requirements following the agreed design
  • to write user stories and refine them with the PO and TDE and the rest of the team
  • to follow-up on the progress with the developers and testers and communicate to PO and the business stakeholder
  • to prepare and run the UAT with the business stakeholders
  • to be able to do any other coordination tasks during the development if required

Since in 3PI project many development initiatives involve integrations with other application the Business Analyst is required to have a working experience in the projects involving integration work and dependences with other applications.

Key technologies / platforms / skills

  • Preferably Salesforce Admin experience
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum ways of working and agile tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Design-thinking

  • adaptability and flexibility to scope changes
  • organization skills (ability to manage tasks and track the progress)
  • ability to work independently while recognizing when to seek assistance or clarification from team members or stakeholders

The person will have to communicate within the product team as well as business stakeholders. Good communication skills as well as proficiency in English are required.
