Seasoned Data Analyst  (~70 - 80 k/y, Helsinki-FI, ONSITE)

Your Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Lead IT and investigative data analysis to support development teams.
  • Design sustainable, value-adding system solutions in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Act as a bridge between IT and business, ensuring transparency and alignment of requirements.
  • Build deep understanding of both business processes and technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and ensure the business relevance of data models and their use in our IIS area.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in relational database design and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Hive, Impala, pySpark, HQL.
  • Familiar with JSON/AVRO data formats.
  • Experience working with standardized data models like Canonical Data Model.
  • Strong background in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Skilled in at least one programming language: Python, R, or Java.
  • Comfortable using Jira and Bitbucket for project tracking and version control.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and analysts.

Contract Details:

  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite at customer office at Helsinki
  • Language: English
  • Full-time and temporary, option for permanent.
