Quality Engineer, mobile SDK  (~75 - 85 k/y, Helsinki-FI, HYBRID)

We're looking for a total of three (3) Quality Engineers for a client in the cyber security industry. The client is unifying two of its core products — their mobile Security SDK (used by global partners) and the product consumer app — into a single, modern platform. As part of this major product convergence initiative, we are looking for Quality Engineers to support both the continuity of the client's existing SDK services and the development of a unified, integrated mobile security platform.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join one of two focused engineering teams working on either operational stability or architectural transformation. You'll contribute directly to the release confidence, reliability, and integration quality of solutions used by tens of millions globally.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in platform QA, SDK testing, or integration-focused environments, especially where quality and test coverage are shared responsibilities across the team.

The two focused engineering teams are:

SDK Augmentation Team:

  • Maintains the current SDK to ensure quality, stability, and smooth partner updates — freeing senior engineers to drive architectural work.
  • 1 open position

SDK/Product Integration Team:

  • Builds and validates the new, unified platform — integrating mobile apps with SDK services and ensuring end-to-end system quality.
  • 2 open positions

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases across iOS, Android, and backend
  • Execute regression and compatibility testing across various device and OS combinations
  • Conduct integration and performance testing for cross-platform features
  • Investigate defects across mobile apps, SDK, and backend services
  • Contribute to test tooling, release quality gates, and continuous delivery workflows
  • Collaborate closely with mobile and backend developers to drive shared quality ownership

We're looking for experienced, self-driven Quality Engineers who bring both technical fluency and test discipline to the team. Specifically in these areas:

  • Strong hands-on experience with mobile testing on iOS and/or Android
  • Test automation skills in Python and optionally Kotlin/Swift
  • Familiarity with modern test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid grasp of quality engineering principles, release workflows, and defect triage
  • Comfort operating in cross-functional, fast-moving engineering teams
  • Fluent English and excellent collaboration skills

Contract Details:

  • Start: September
  • Location: Hybrid –1-2 days/week onsite at customer office at Helsinki
  • Language: English
  • Full-time and temporary, option for permanent.
