Senior IT Architect  (~82 - 95 k/y, Helsinki-FI)

We're looking for a Senior IT Architect to join a highly skilled team of architects and technology experts working on a cutting-edge, Core Banking Platform.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of designing, managing, and steering the platform and infrastructure architecture that powers the next generation of core banking services. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you'll help drive strategy, vision, and delivery in a value-focused environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and maintain technical architecture and infrastructure roadmaps Drive platform enabler capabilities, architecture documentation (SDD, TRRD), and non-functional requirements
  • Lead and participate in infrastructure and IT systems design aligned with architectural governance
  • Work closely with Product Management and Release Train Engineers to deliver technological solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across development, platform, and operations teams
  • Champion architectural standards, best practices, and shared change initiatives
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve performance, cost-efficiency, agility, and risk mitigation
  • Facilitate collaboration across teams to deliver shared architectural goals

Your Expertise:

  • Strong background in IT solution and infrastructure architecture
  • Experience in core banking transformations (Temenos T24/Transact knowledge is a plus)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Hands-on experience with technologies such as:

  • Oracle Exadata & RAC, Oracle Cloud
  • Kafka, Hadoop, Cloudera, IBM MQ
  • Kubernetes, RedHat, Windows Server
  • Advanced networking and monitoring (CISCO, NetScaler/F5)
  • Security protocols: JWT, OpenID Connect, client certificates
  • Integration tech: OSB, MQ, WebLogic
  • Microservices, containerization, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
  • Agile methodologies, preferably SAFe

Other Requirements:

  • Availability for on-site work in Helsinki ~2-3 days/week
